The Salvation Army, in collaboration with Cenex Zip Trip, will distribute 5,000 free backpacks with school supplies to children, K-12, in Spokane County at its 10th Annual Backpacks for Kids event from 8 am to 6 pm on August 7th.  This FREE event will also include a resource fair, vendors, prizes and a photo booth.  Families with children, K-12, are invited to attend this FREE Backpacks for Kids event at 222.
