Key Mechanical Innovations:
No Security Doors: Unlike the first game, the security office has no doors to seal off threats. Instead, players sit exposed with a wide central hallway and two open side air vents. fnaf 2

The Freddy Fazbear Mask: To defend against incoming animatronics, players must quickly put on a hollowed-out Freddy head to fool the roaming characters into thinking the player is one of them.

The Music Box: Located in the Prize Corner (Cam 11), the Music Box must be manually wound up using the camera monitor interface. If the music stops entirely, the puppet animatronic escapes, leading to an instant, unblockable jumpscare.

The Flashlight: Players are equipped with a battery-powered flashlight to illuminate the dark hallway and reset certain animatronic behaviors. Battery conservation is critical to surviving the later nights.
