Lakedale celebrates Valentine’s weekend with a culinary experience for you and your sweetie. Roll your way into his or her heart with an epic sushi feast.
Sushi master, Frank Sicilia, will teach the basics of sushi (tools, ingredients, prepping, making the perfect sushi rice), then you’ll make a variety of your own rolls which will be served for dinner.
Dinner includes – Sushi making class taught by Frank Sicilia of Rolling Sushi, wine pairings, miso soup, edamame, guest-made sushi and mocha ice cream.
The event will take place in the Lodge located in heart of Lakedale’s scenic property, which features a variety of winter accommodations, including the Lodge, Log Cabins and Lakedale’s newest amenity: Yurts with 425 square feet of modern luxury. These luxury accommodations offer king-size beds with flannel duvet covers, en suite bathroom with shower, wet bar and refrigerator, electricity, a large flat-panel TV, a queen-size sleeper sofa and a spacious 180-square-foot private deck complete with hot tub – perfect for a romantic getaway.
