Spencer’s for Steaks and Chops is Spokane’s original steakhouse, renowned for the finest cuts of locally sourced beef, as well as fresh seafood that delights our diners daily. The establishment opened its doors in 1998, and since then guests have enjoyed an elegant, comfortable atmosphere, minus any pretentious attitude.
The fare at Spencer’s is the epitome of both quality and creativity. From our hand-cut meats, highlighted by Zabuton steaks that deliver unmatched tenderness, to our distinctive Calamari, infused with Mediterranean ingredients like feta cheese and green olives, each meal is indeed a culinary experience.
Although steaks and seafood lie at the essence of what makes Spencer’s one of the Northwest’s premier restaurants, our side dishes and desserts are also in a class of their own. Just imagine the thrill our Deep-Dish Cookie Crust Apple Pie will bring you. And, when you complement anything you choose on the menu with one of our handcrafted martinis, whiskeys, or fine wines, your meal becomes that much more memorable.
Our Executive Chef is passionate about creating new and exciting meals and textures from traditional flavors doing so with the philosophy of community. Executive Chef Stefan Reynolds and his team only purchase products from local sources – and that applies to everything from beef to the ingredients we use for our ice cream desserts.
Growing up in Yakima, WA, Chef Stefan first learned cooking from his grandmother and his father. He fine-tuned his culinary skills in Downtown Spokane scratch kitchens and as Sous Chef for Luna on the South Hill. Since assuming the Executive Chef position with Spencer’s, Stefan won ‘Outstanding Entree’ at the 2017 Epicurean Delight, a local charity gala.
