Washington Foods We Think Your Should Try

From savory to sweet–these are Washington foods that we are loving right now.

CHEESE
The first of the Washington foods on our list is Tieton Farm & Creamery’s deliciously soft and hard cheeses throughout Washington, but for a more personal experience you can meet some of the makers at the Yakima Farmers Market, or go on a farm tour in the spring or fall.

SANDWICHES
Graze prides itself on fresh ingredients and house-cured meats at affordable prices. Check out its original Walla Walla location (there’s also a drive-through location in Walla Walla for those on the go), as well as two others around the state. Hot sandwiches like the turkey pear panini really stand out.

SALAD
At Traditions Cafe & World Folk Art, you’re bound to find what you’re looking for. Especially if you’re looking for a healthy and satisfying salad like the lemon tahini with tomatoes, mixed greens, brown rice and housemade dressing.

CRÈME BRÛLÉE
During peach season in Yakima Valley (usually in August), you’ll want to head over to Zesta Cucina for dessert. There, you’ll find a perfectly ripe peach, picked just a whisper away, filled with crème brûlée. You may want to order two.
