Meet the Makers!
The Cider Makers Dinner returns for 2018 with an amazing local culinary team, delicious Northwest ciders, and serene views of the vineyard at Olalla Winery.
This year’s dinner will feature epicurean works by Laura Smythe of Le Garmache and regional cidermakers in a special blend of flavors and fun!
Cidermakers will be present to share tasting techniques and cider lore, explain the process – from orchard to glass, and more. Six small-plate courses, using the freshest ingredients grown and produced by our Pierce County farmers and fishers, will be paired to each cider course. And, a special treat awaits you with the dessert course paired to Olalla Wineries 2013 Vintage Port!
The evening’s ambiance, set with multi-textural acoustic guitar by Rob Rigoni, will revolve around an authentic farm-fresh theme.
The all-inclusive dinner/tasting experience includes a take-home cider vessel handcrafted by local potter Jana Fisher.
