This year, the GSBA Scholarship Fund is excited to go virtual! Friday, November 13, the bidding starts on our mobile platform and goes all week, concluding with the main event, A Virtual Concert for Our Scholars at 6:00 PM on Saturday, November 21, which will uplift your spirit with stories from our scholars and moving performances from our talented community.

The auction lets you join the fun and bid on items that you need to help you survive and thrive during the pandemic. There are “Comforts at Home” to enhance your environment, soothe the soul and feed the body + mind and  “Scene Changers” when you just have to get out of the house (safely, of course) and need to look at something other than your own four walls.

Proceeds raised at EQUALUX directly benefit the GSBA Scholarship Fund, the oldest and one of the largest LGBTQ scholarship programs in the country. Since its founding in 1990, the GSBA Scholarship Fund has invested over $4.4 million in LGBTQ students who exemplify leadership potential, strong academic ability, and community involvement and dedication. The scholarship program works to empower students with marginalized intersectional identities within the LGBTQ community and provides not only financial support for LGBTQ students, but a network of support, skills-based workshops, and leadership training. In 2020, $600,000 has been invested in 60 LGBTQ and allied students
